Every gentleman knows that being the life of the party doesn't mean being the know-it-all unless you know GJ! Being a gentleman takes on a whole new meaning. For example, just because dress codes at social events aren't rigidly enforced doesn't mean you should feel free to flout them. Showing up way overdressed for a pool party, or way underdressed for a cocktail gathering, makes a statement, all right - but possibly not the one you intended. It says you don't value whatever activity that everyone else came to enjoy. Which, when you think about it, is a show of disrespect that is unworthy of a gentleman. |
